Step 1: Download the latest version of our mobile app by visiting your Android store. Please be sure to download the correct mobile application for dental patients. The name of the free application is "Dentulu Patients." You can install our secure mobile application by following the following link. Here




Step 2: After you have downloaded and installed our mobile application, click "Register" to create a new profile. You will receive an email to verify your account. Once you have verified your account, you can login using the email and password you created.



Step 3: You will be directed to the Dashboard, where you can access the MouthCAM application by pressing the "MouthCAM" button.

Step 4: To start using your new camera, press the "Capture" icon to set up your WIFI connection.

Step 5: After clicking the capture button, you will be given the option to connect with the Wi-Fi camera. To do so, please switch on the intra-oral camera by pressing the button on the device as shown in the image. You will know the camera is on and ready to pair when you see a green light blinking.



Step 6: IMPORTANT! Please make sure your MouthCAM is turned on and fully charged. Press the red button as shown in the image to connect it with the Wi-Fi, and wait for it to connect with the Wi-Fi intraoral camera. Depending on the type of MouthCAM you purchased, you will see the following Wi-Fi networks to choose from: Examples of Wi-Fi Networks: "DT_WiFiabcdef232 (random numbers after WiFi)" OR "Dentulu" OR "MouthCAM".
Note: It usually takes a few seconds to connect with your camera. You may see a message stating that there is no internet connectivity, but don't worry—your camera will continue to work without an internet connection. Once you finish taking photos, the MouthCAM device will automatically save the data to your phone and the cloud.


Step 7: Click START CAMERA to begin taking pictures. Your phone may ask for permission to access the camera, as shown in the images below. Please provide access to the camera so the operation can be completed successfully.


Step 8: Now that you have your camera, you can start exploring and previewing the pictures and videos that are streamed from the MouthCAM device to your phone.

Step 9: There are two ways to click pictures: You can either use the click button on the camera or search for three buttons on the bottom of the preview page. Button (1) will capture the photos with every click. Button (2) will record up to two minutes of video & audio. Button (3) will take you to the gallery view. You can preview the captured images & videos as shown in the image. You can use any of those to capture the images.

Step 10: To start recording a video, press and hold the camera button for 3 seconds. You can record up to 2 minutes of video. To stop recording, press and hold the button for 3 seconds and release it after 3 seconds.

Step 11: To save an image to the gallery, click the 'Save to Gallery' button. Please note that you may need to disconnect the camera after capturing the image to sync it to the cloud. Otherwise, the device may not save the captured image to the cloud.

Step 12: To disconnect your camera, please click on the blinking Wi-Fi icon in the top right corner. Once disconnected, your images will start syncing to cloud storage.

Step 13: The Media Library or Image Gallery is where you can securely and safely store all images under HIPAA regulations. From here, you can access images to group, regroup, edit, share, and delete them.

Step 14: Choose the images you want to share, then click the ‘Share’ icon. You will be given two options: ‘SMS/ e-Mail’ and ‘To Dentist’.

Step 15: Click on SMS/e-Mail to share the file. Enter the mandatory fields. The password needs to be at least 6 characters that contain at least one letter, one number, and one special character. (For example: abc12@). Now click 'Generate' and 'Send'.

Step 16: To share a file with a particular dentist on Dentulu's network, click on "To Dentist." The password needs to be at least 6 characters long and must contain at least one letter, one number, and one special character (for example, "abc12@"). Then, click "Generate" and "Send."

How to use Gallery
Step 1: How gallery and its functions work

Step 2: To access an existing media file, select the "View gallery" option.
Step 3: When you open the media tray, you can see all the images and videos that are stored there.
Step 4: There are a few things you can do with files, like moving them, copying them, deleting them, sharing them, adding them to your favorites, downloading them, getting more details about them, and renaming them.
Step 5: Move: you can transfer the file from one folder location to another
Step 6: Copy: perform operations like copy and paste to another folder location
Step 7: Delete: remove the unwanted/ repeated media file that exists in the folder
Step 8: Share: You can send the files to the designated professionals by sharing option
Step 9: Add to favorite: mark the images that you wish to highlight among the list.
Step 10: Download: save the media file to your mobile device
Step 11: Rename: allows you to change the name of the file
Step 12: Through the sort option, you can rearrange the file from A-Z, Z-A, newest to older, largest to smallest.
Step 13: Using the view button on the right top, you can change the view to list or grid view
